Dana Tanamachi is one amazing Brooklyn-based chalk letterer. Thanks to the sharing community of Instagram, I discovered it and now I just have been spinning out my own typography experiments.
So far, I have started doing some on my greeting cards to friends to the logo for the cover of my Japan missionary trip back from last month.
Above is the latest chalk TIME Magazine cover piece by Dana. My cousin from LA delivered this in person, and I studied the cover more than its content. Heeeee. That’s all a designer needed, coffee and an inspiration.
