When sports and faith collide, it is really special! I'm not a sporty person, or athlete of any kinds. Or as how my other friends will say, "You are doing dragon boating? Really? Hard to picture you in it!".
Faith in God makes everything possible I would say - and not only physically stronger but spiritually. I count all the fellowships with ARK (my dragon boat team fellowship from church) and the tough Dragon Boat trainings as blessings. My folks say that I'm happier since I joined ARK last year. I can't say that it is the thrill of Dragon Boating that makes me happier but it was really the opportunity that God gave me to show the world His goodness and His Love. A great pleasure to fulfill the dreams that He has put into our hearts and the purposes He built into us. This is for sure better than winning the gold cups at the dragon boat championships. :)
